Wills and Estate Plans
A planned gift demonstrates a profound desire to participate in our future. It is a lasting gift – one that will bring benefits far beyond today. It is a seed to be planted, with the knowledge that the harvest will be valued in a distant tomorrow. We take joy in helping others, honoring our elders, and supporting our community.
Examples of planned gifts that may be made to the Village Endowment Fund include the following:
Bequest
A bequest is simply a distribution from your estate to a charity, like Central Baptist Village. The following are examples of different types of bequests:
- Percentage - "I give, devise, and bequest to Central Baptist Village, located in Norridge, Illinois, for the support of the Endowment Fund _____% of the residue of my estate."
- Dollar Amount - "I give, devise, and bequest to Central Baptist Village, located in Norridge, Illinois, for the support of the Endowment Fund, the sum of $_______."
- Specific Property - "I give, devise, and bequeath to Central Baptist Village, located in Norridge, Illinois, my interest in (describe the property, and/or its location, address, license number, etc.)."
